Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, very cosy place to spend a rainy evening. Really excellent food at the restaurant and the breakfast was amazing! We stopped for one night to break up the drive from Scotland and I wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back.

Lovely rooms and great facilities. Would recommend a visit to the brown cow for a meal, very friendly staff and food was amazing.

El The Crown and Cushion Appleby está situado en la plaza del mercado del centro de Appleby y cuenta con restaurante, sala de té y bar. Very spacious and clean. The bedrooms were huge. Nice new bathroom. Separate lounge with sofa and dining table. Location was excellent, right in the middle of Appleby, but the apartment was very quiet.

El Langstrath Country Inn, construido alrededor de 1590 como cabaña de mineros conocida como "Dove Cottage", es un pequeño establecimiento de gestión familiar que ofrece alojamiento en Stonethwaite. Absolutely everything. Great welcome, lovely room, stunning views, amazing dinner and breakfast, great service and delicious packed lunch. Chef deserves 2 hats! Cosy and atmospheric too.

We stayed here for 11 nights. We have enjoyed the area; discovered the nature reserves along the coast line, the mosses and the hills and lakes of the closeby Lake District. The variation of landscapes in one area is unique. Every day we started with a tradional English breakfast and finished most days with a beer in the pub. There is an enclosed car-park as you need a car around here. There is wide range of restaurants in the city center. Lynn and Jim are enjoying running their Inn.

Plough Inn está en Lupton, a 26 km de Bosque de Bowland, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, restaurante y bar. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Super evening meal. Found the whole experience friendly and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and return again.

The Hare and Hounds, Levens está en Levens, a 18 km de Parque temático World of Beatrix Potter, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Only problem was we didn't have long enough here so are going to have to re visit. Stayed here but wedding at villa Leven's. Rooms/staff/Breakfast first classing. Nothing not to like thanks
